Founded in 2012 by George Coman, an orphan himself with a vision for a better type of orphanage, the home exists to provide a family-like atmosphere where children can experience love and acceptance.

To that end, our mission is to construct living spaces that the orphan children of Romania can call home. These multiple connected homes create a sort of campus environment where children can be nurtured, educated, supported and allowed to thrive. Our goal is to provide these children with a feeling of belonging by creating new family units.

Rather than identifying as orphans, children become part of something greater than themselves; in finding acceptance in one another and among our staff and volunteers, these children have a chance to become supported and successful whole adults.

Being orphaned can leave a child feeling lonely, desolate, unwanted and broken. By providing a safe, caring atmosphere, we seek to make these children feel whole once more.
